I would also like to pass on some great news about your service department. The last time I was in for service, your folks noticed that my brakes were in need of repair and, after trying to contact us numerous times, made the executive decision to go ahead and repair them. A great decision and I told them so at the time. I want to thank them for saving my life this week. You may have heard about the large accident this week on the 400, with the tractor trailer flipping and taking out 5 lines of traffic. I was in that accident and it was a VERY close call. But thanks to my ACURA's great ABS system, and newly repaired brakes, I was one of the lucky ones who were able to stop in time and avoid being hit by the truck AND the resulting pile up of high traffic. I love my ACURA, and I LOVE your service department.

"Yes, that was me hitting the binders HARD at 130 km/hr, on the 400, coming North, as the tractor trailer came barrelling across 5 lanes of traffic, flipped, and jackknifed in front of me, while taking out 5 other cars, a ditch, the pavement, and 1000 ft of guardrail. Yep, that was me, thanking God for my outeffingstanding ABS, judging the stopping distance, looking for space to squeeze between the centre guardrail and the truck ahead of me as 1 watched the Pontiac Sunfire in my rearview mirror lock up and go sideways behind me, heading right into me. Sure, that was the truck ahead of me letting off his brakes just for a second, enough to give me some space to get out of the way of the Sunfire; before we ALL had to hit the brakes HARD for a second time and come to a complete stop. And yes, that was me sitting parked on the 400 for over an hour while they cut the people out and into ambulances (everyone is okay) and let us through, before they closed the highway for over 6 hrs to clean up the mess. Ask me how much I love my Acura."
